Terms of use

Terms of use

The terms for using this website. Clear, short, no fine print.

Important: these terms only govern the use of this website (internshipabroad.eu). Placement agreements with students, and partnership agreements with universities, governments, or companies, are formed separately, in writing, once both parties agree.

About us

This website is operated by Students Abroad, based in the Netherlands, incorporated in Sardinia, Italy. We are the institutional platform for international internship placement, operating across 16 markets and 25+ destinations, aligned with Erasmus+, Turing Scheme, SEMP, IISMA, and national mobility programmes.

What this website does

internshipabroad.eu is an information website for universities, governments, and placement partners. It explains how our network operates, answers questions, and leads to a conversation with our partnerships team through an enquiry form.

Reading this website, or submitting an enquiry form, obligates you to nothing. No costs or binding agreement arise simply from visiting the site or getting in touch.

What happens when you submit an enquiry

Enquiry forms on this site are routed by email to our partnerships team. Submitting a form starts a conversation, not a contract. Any resulting institutional partnership (university placement agreement, government programme alignment, or company hosting agreement) is documented and agreed separately in writing.

What happens when a student registers

Students register on app.internshipabroad.me or on one of our 16 national market sites. Registration there is governed by that platform's or market site's own terms, which the student explicitly accepts when signing up.

Content & liability

The content of this website has been compiled with care, but is informational and not a binding offer. Statistics, market coverage, and programme details may change. Only the terms individually agreed in writing with a university, government body, company, or student are binding.

We give no guarantee for the currency, completeness, or accuracy of the information shown here.

External links

We link to websites of third parties (universities, national market sites, Erasmus+, government bodies). Only the respective operators are responsible for their content.

Copyright & trademarks

All content on this website (text, images, design, code) is protected by copyright. "Internship Abroad" is a protected trademark. Use beyond what is legally permitted requires our written consent.

Changes

We may amend these terms at any time. The most current version is always on this page. Material changes to partnership or platform terms are actively communicated.

Governing law & jurisdiction

Dutch law applies to these terms. Institutional partners retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their own jurisdiction where applicable. To the extent legally permitted, the competent court is that of Students Abroad's place of establishment in the Netherlands.
